The Walled Garden: World Book Day

The Walled Garden children love any excuse to dress up and World Book Day is one of the most fabulous of all! We had a super day showcasing our character costumes online in our morning lessons. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 then joined an online author and author session courtesy of Puffin Books with Nathan Bryon
and Dapo Adeola. 

The fun didn't stop there - on Friday the children were so excited to log on to our Webinar with Megan Rix, author of the Lizzie and Lucky series, courtesy of Puffin books. It was so exciting that Zara’s question was answered by Megan and that she mentioned The Walled Garden in her presentation! What a great way to learn about books and sign language!
