Tuesday
On Tuesday, the Year 3s had a great day out at Moors Valley. They had lots of fun pond dipping and identifying the creatures they found. They then took part in a Minibeast Safari in the meadows. We were also lucky enough to meet Penelope, the bird eating tarantula and Noodle, the grass snake!
Thursday
On Thursday the children in Years 3 and 4 went to the Chalke Valley History Festival. There was a wonderful selection of exhibits to visit with some truly inspirational re-enactors who brought the past to life. The children impressed us with their excellent questions and listening skills. The Sandroyd sponsored story tellers put on two hilarious shows for us; the first being about armour during the Civil War, followed by motor racing and espionage during WWII.
