The Year 6 pupils shone at the national STEM Racing event, where schools from across the country came together to compete in an inspiring celebration of engineering, creativity, and teamwork. Our pupils embraced every challenge: designing and refining their race cars, building detailed pit displays, and engaging confidently with teams from other schools.

Throughout the day, they interacted brilliantly with competitors, sharing ideas, comparing designs, and proudly showcasing the thinking behind their work. The judges were especially impressed by their verbal presentations and engineering design briefs, where they explained their process, problem‑solving, and the journey that earned them a place in the finals.

Their professionalism, enthusiasm, and resilience were evident in every stage of the competition. We are incredibly proud of how they represented the school and themselves.
