Poetry Showcase

Our annual Stowe Verse Speaking Competition takes place in Spring term every year. In lieu of our finals event, which would usually have taken place next week, we instead had a celebration of poetry in the theatre this afternoon. 2 children from each class in years 6, 7 and 8 took to the stage today to recite the poems they have learnt- the variety of poems chosen was astonishing. 
 
Well done to all the children in Years 3-8 who have worked hard this term to learn their poem.
