Performing Arts

Year 4 have begun a project to find out all about orchestral instruments. They have been really enjoying having a go at different instruments and learning how to play them from our amazing peripatetic music team. We are offering a program of free trial lessons and instrumental rental for half a term for some of these instruments.  Our new Shepherd Hut music room has arrived in place and we are keen to move the drums in next week! Many thanks to our amazing maintenance team for their hard work on this.

 This term we have been joined by three new peripatetic teachers; Katie Flanaghan who is offering harp tuition, David Shaed who is offering brass tuition and Barry Deacon who is offering Saxophone and Clarinet. The number of pupils taking part in individual music tuition and our LAMDA/Drama classes is at a record high which is wonderful but we always have room for more!
