Maths: World Maths Day
On Thursday, March 14th, World Maths Day hit Sandroyd! With various testing going on simultaneously this year, not all year groups were able to participate but the Junior Department did us proud. Each pupil received their own personal log-in to the World Maths Day website and were then able to challenge either a classmate or pupils anyway in the world. Speed was of the essence as it was a race to enter as many correct answers as possible in the allotted time.
Well done to all those who participated this year. We’ll make sure that everyone can join in next year – Mr Redden is very keen to dress up for it so I’ll keep you posted!
